A camera is a thing which everybody craves, even if they are not into photography. It is the only way you can relive your past. But when you get into the shop to buy a new digital camera, you are going to get confused by all the sales pitches, and  end up buying a camera not because it has great features, only because you got fed up of the sales talk. Buying a camera is not a piece of cake. 1. Let’s begin with Nikon D3, which overthrew Canon in the race to become the best. It is great for taking sports and action pictures. 2. The next digital camera that will be reviewed is the Lumix DMC – ZS3. Its features include a 12x zoom lens, a chic and stylish body, good picture quality, near accurate images and its great price. It is available in the hues of black, blue, silver and red. It is slightly small, though we are not complaining, and lightweight, which ensures that you can shoot for long hours without any discomfort. As a bonus feature, Lumix also has a movie record button. At $399.95 it is a great value for the money.

3. It is almost impossible to list the best cameras without a Canon. Yes, the next one up is Canon PowerShot SD990 which is available in black and silver. PowerShot gives you extremely high resolution pictures without sacrificing the color or picture quality. You can take detailed pictures without worrying about the outcome. Its size is also quite small as compared to other cameras which provide similar picture quality. It is not very cheap nor very expensive at $ 309.

4. We are now going to review another Nikon, Nikon Coolpix S710. Nikon has come up with this little beauty which is not only small but also functions well. The main complaint is that it is not fast.   But we were also stunned at the picture quality it offers, for a camera this small. It also has a rough and tough steel body which also looks good. It is worth buying for $259.

5.The Fuji film Finepix S10 is a camera strictly for amateurs. It is has a durable yet stylish look and is priced only $149. The image quality is pretty good for such an inexpensive camera. It is available in the colors brown, black and silver. It has a complex manual system which will require some time to adjust, but overall it is good which is why it has made it into this list.
